Frontline Pulse privacy policy
Frontline Pulse is a product of Protos EQ (protoseq.com). This page says what we collect from teammates who use it, what we do with it, and what we never do with it. It covers the Frontline Pulse text message program described in the text message terms.
What we collect
- Who you are: your name, your work email or mobile number, your organization, site, department and crew. Your employer's HR lead gives us these when you are enrolled.
- Your answers: what you put on each check-in, when you answered, how long each answer took, and whether you skipped.
- Text delivery: whether each text we sent reached your carrier, and a STOP if you reply with one. We do not store the text of any other reply.
How we use it
- To send your start-of-shift and end-of-shift texts, and to open your own check-in when you tap the link.
- To show you your own history.
- To show your supervisor and your organization how a crew is doing as a group. A crew is reported only when at least seven teammates in it have each answered five or more times, and a single person's answer is never shown to anybody but that person.
- To check the instrument itself: completion rates, answer times and straight-lining, as counts and never as names.
Confidential, not anonymous
Your answers are tied to you, so they can be compared with your own history over time. They are not anonymous and we do not describe them that way. They are confidential: nobody at your organization sees an individual's answers, and the system is built so that no supervisor or leadership view can return one.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or any personal information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
- Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts are used only to send you Frontline Pulse texts. They are not sold, and they are not shared with anyone for any other purpose.
- We do not use your answers for selection, screening, discipline or scheduling, and we do not build features that would.
Who processes it for us
Our database host and our text and email delivery providers process data on our behalf to run the service. They may not use it for anything else.
Research
Aggregate, de-identified data (names and contact details removed) may be used to improve the instrument. Nothing de-identified is ever re-linked to a person.
Keeping it and deleting it
Your record is kept while your organization uses Frontline Pulse. Ask your HR lead or email us to have your identity removed; your answers are then detached from your name.

Reply STOP to any text. Reply HELP for help. See the text message terms.
